Yamaha Educational Days

An organisation where the Belgian Brass ensemble, Vlamo vzw and Yamaha Music Europe join forces, can only mean one thing: ‘brass players take centre stage’, which is also the essence of this first Yamaha Educational Days series. It is a diptych of 5 performances spread across 5 cities and 5 provinces, straddling 2011 and 2012. The show in Limburg is on Saturday 18 February 2012 in Hasselt.

The educational aspect

All the members of the Belgian Brass ensemble will be giving master classes that day. The Belgian Brass ensemble will be opening its doors to all brass instrument and percussion students from the DKO Limburg, and all brass instrument and percussion members/musicians from the Limburg HAFABRA associations for the entire day. Entry is free. Everything you need to know about the programme, the schedule, venue(s), names of lecturers and how to register is in the enclosed leaflet.

The concert aspect

Each Yamaha Educational Day is concluded with an exclusive Belgian Brass concert where they will present their new performance ‘PUSHING THE LIMITS’. A production where all the boundaries of the brass instrument are being tested. Information about the concert, venue, time, tickets, how to book can be found in the enclosed poster + flyer.

We are very grateful to you for spreading this information within your own organisation and are happy to welcome your students or members at this Limburg edition of the Yamaha Educational Days on Saturday, 18 February 2012.
